After months of toiling about 4-stroke vs. 2-stroke, about PDS vs. Linkage, New vs. Used, whether I should buy 690 Enduro or a 500 EXC first, or a lighter-weight bike for skill-building. Well, I finally decided, and upon arriving at the dealership to look at this bike, I noticed their floor had only a dozen bikes left and of those 75% had “SOLD” signs on them. At this point it was obvious what was going on – the covid-driven demand just came back again with a huge rush on bikes. Not wanting to worry about their 2022 allocations or delivery schedules, I decided to put $1000 on the KTM 300 XC TPI which I’ll complete the purchase in a few weeks.
